How to make Veg Pulav
Pulao is a popular type of rice and people eat this dish very fondly. Pulao is suitable for any small or big function, birthday party or any small party. Veg Pulau You need some vegetables and some spices which may be already available in your home. Pulao recipe is a very easy and quick recipe so today in this article we are going to see a veggie pulao recipe.
Ingredients needed to make veg pulao -
• 1 cup basmati rice.
• 1 tbsp oil.
• 2 cups of water.
•1 medium-sized onion (chopped vertically).
• 1 tomato (sliced lengthwise or vertically).
• 3 green chillies (halved vertically).
• 1 capsicum (chopped upright).
• 1 small bowl of carrots
(chopped into squares).
• 1 tablespoon peas.
• One and a half spoonfuls of ginger garlic paste.
• Half a teaspoon of cardamom powder.
• 2 tbsp cashew nuts.
• 2 tbsp coriander (finely chopped).
• 1 tsp garam masala powder.
• Salt (to taste).
Spices used to make pulao
• 1 almond blossom
• 1 masala Veldoda.
• 2 bay leaves and tamal leaves.
• 3 to 4 cloves.
• Half a teaspoon of cumin seeds.
• 2 plain Veldode.
The process to make a pulao recipe
How to make a Casserole Cooker
• First take the rice in a bowl and wash it thoroughly.
• Now soak the rice in water for 15 minutes and then drain the water from the rice and keep it aside (soaking helps the rice grains to become more fluffy).
• Now heat the cooker on medium or high flame and once the cooker is hot add oil.
• As soon as the oil heats up, add all the spices like a badam flower, bay leaves, cloves, cumin seeds, masala veldoda and plain veldoda and fry all these spices till they smell nice.
• Now add onion, ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes and green chillies to this and saute until the onion turns brown.
• Then add capsicum, carrot and peas to this and roast those vegetables well.
• Then add garam masala, salt (as per taste) and mix well.
• Then add the washed and soaked basmati rice and mix well again.
• Add water and cover the cooker lid and cook the rice on low flame for 10 minutes (at least 3 to 4 whistles).
• Now add the fried cashews on top and mix them while serving.
• Pulao is ready to serve.
Remove the pulao in a surfing dish with coriander

How to make pulao in Kadai recipe
• First take the rice in a bowl and wash it thoroughly.
• Now add water, 2 to 3 black peppercorns and a piece of cinnamon to it and cook the rice to 80% and keep it aside.
• Also fry cashews in oil in a pan and take it out on a plate and keep it aside.
• Now take a kadai and heat it on gas on medium flame and add oil to it.
• Heat the oil in it and saute cumin seeds, badam flower, cloves, cumin seeds, masala veldoda and plain veldoda and all these spices till they smell nice.
• Now add onion, ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes and green chillies to this and saute until the onion turns brown. Then add capsicum, carrot and peas to it and roast those vegetables well.
• Then add garam masala, salt (as per taste) and mix well. Now add 80 per cent cooked rice and cover it and steam it well for 8 to 10 minutes. This will also make your vegetables soft and even 80% cooked rice will be fully cooked.
• Now add fried cashews and coriander to this rice and mix it well.
• Your sparkling veg pulao is ready.
