This vanilla cake recipe is great to the all occasions and easy to make. It is  the best cake 

that I have ever made. It is not too bland, and it's not too sweet. Slice the cooled cake 

through the middle to makes two layers and frost as desired. This Vanilla Cake is  

commonly referred to as a 1-2-3 Cake. Vanilla cake is popular since the 19th century it is an 

easy cake for remember. The numbers 1-2-3 refer as the quantities of ingredients; 1 cup 

butter, 2 cups sugar, 3 cups flour. Vanilla Cake recipe is the one that must be added to your 

repertoire. It is light, tender, and  full of the flavor of vanilla. The buttery, moist texture 

makes it the great cake for all occasions.

Ingredients

Cooking spray

2 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour, or more if needed

1 cup of white sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

2 pinches of salt

¾ cup milk

¾ cup vegetable oil

How to make

Step - 1

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C. Grease a 9-inch of cake tin with the cooking spray and then line it with parchment paper.

Step – 2

In a large bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt together. Add milk and vegetable oil; mix by hand or beat with an electric mixer on low speed until smooth. If the batter is too runny then add more flour. Pour it into the prepared pan.

Step – 3

Bake it in the preheated oven until the toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean, about 1 hour. Cool it on the wire rack for up to 5 minutes. After that run a table knife around the edges to loosen. Invert the cake carefully onto a cooling rack. Let cool completely then survey.
